AV Design & Support Specialist

We are working with a leading provider of cutting-edge audiovisual (AV) solutions, specializing in delivering immersive experiences for a diverse range of clients. They pride themselves on innovation, reliability, and exceptional service, leveraging the latest technologies to create seamless AV solutions tailored to our clients' needs.

Due to growth and acquisitions, we are seeking a talented Design & Support AV Engineer to join the dynamic team.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and engineering of complex AV systems, including audio, video, control, and network components, ensuring solutions meet client requirements and industry standards.
• Collaborate with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders to understand project objectives, technical requirements, and budget constraints.
• Develop detailed AV system designs, schematics, and documentation, including equipment lists, wiring diagrams, and control system programming.

Required Skills

• Expertise in audiovisual technologies, including digital signal processing, video conferencing systems, audio/video codecs, and networked AV solutions.
• Proficiency with CAD software (AutoCAD, Visio) for creating technical drawings and schematics.
• Strong understanding of industry standards and protocols (e.g., HDMI, HDBaseT, Dante, AVB).
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
