The Vice President of Talent Acquisition is responsible for leading the organization's talent acquisition strategy and operations. This role involves developing and implementing innovative recruitment strategies to attract, engage, and retain top talent across all levels of the organization. The VP of Talent Acquisition will collaborate with various departments to ensure a seamless and efficient recruitment process that aligns with the organization's strategic goals.


  • Talent Acquisition Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy that supports the organization's objectives and enhances its ability to attract and retain top talent. Regularly review and assess the effectiveness of recruitment strategies and make necessary adjustments.
  • Leadership and Management: Provide strategic leadership and direction to the talent acquisition leaders and team. Ensure that the leaders are equipped with the necessary tools, resources, and training to perform their roles effectively.
  • Recruitment Process Optimization: Design recruitment processes, from sourcing and screening candidates to interviewing and onboarding. Stay aware of industry best practices and innovative solutions to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the recruitment process. Educate the organization and leaders on what an efficient and effective process looks like.
  • Employer Branding: Develop and promote the organization's employer brand to attract top talent. Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to create compelling recruitment marketing materials and campaigns.
  • Diversity and Inclusion Initiatives: Develop and implement initiatives to attract a diverse slate of candidates and support the organization's diversity and inclusion goals, including ensuring maintaining a diverse talent acquisition team in support of achieving these goals.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize data to report outcomes and make informed decisions in support of achieving best-in-class time to start. This includes analyzing recruitment metrics, identifying trends, and implementing strategies to improve time-to-fill and time-to-start metrics. Regularly review and assess the effectiveness of recruitment strategies and make necessary adjustments based on data insights.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with various departments, including HR, finance, and operations, to ensure alignment of talent acquisition strategies with business objectives. Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with recruitment vendors and service providers. Evaluate and select vendors, negotiate contracts, and ensure the delivery of high-quality services.
  • Compliance and Reporting: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies. Prepare and submit required reports and filings related to talent acquisition activities.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for improving talent acquisition processes and practices. Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance the effectiveness of talent acquisition efforts.


  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in talent acquisition, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of talent acquisition strategies, tools, and technologies.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement talent acquisition strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including experience in using data to solve problems and drive decision-making.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
