ECU Health Physicians and ECU Health Heart & Vascular Care are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a well-established cardiology practice in Greenville, NC. Must be certified as an ANP, FNP, ACNP or AGNP. 1-2 years of practice experience preferred.

Established practice of 12 physicians and 4 Advanced Practice Providers

Primary clinical responsibilities will be in Greenville, NC with some outreach coverage throughout region

Estimated 40 hours per week

Daytime only schedule with rotating weekend coverage

Advanced Practice Provider rotation consists of hospital and clinic coverage with weekend coverage every 4th week (extra shift pay for weekend shifts)

Inpatient and outpatient responsibilities will include consults, rounding, writing orders, preparing patients for procedures, providing care for new and established patients, assisting with stress tests, and EKG interpretation

29 county referral network that includes 1.4 million residents.

Applicants will be required to have BLS certification from the American Heart Association

East Carolina Heart Institute The East Carolina Heart Institute at ECU Health Medical Center is eastern North Carolina s preferred facility for cardiovascular services. The six-story, 375,000-square-foot tower houses clinical space, diagnostic services and cardiovascular operating rooms, including a hybrid operating room. It features 120 beds for patients undergoing procedures for cardiac medicine, cardiac surgery and vascular surgery.
