About the Role

We're looking for a Head of Sales to lead our Account Executive and Sales Development Representative (SDR) teams. Reporting directly to our CEO, you'll work together to achieve our ambitious revenue goals and accelerate the company's growth.

You'll be responsible for the entire sales lifecycle and develop winning strategies from first touch to final close. This leadership role is for someone who can adapt and succeed in a dynamic environment and guide a high-performing team to exceed targets.

This role is based in-office in San Francisco with the flexibility to work remotely 1-2 days per week.

Your Impact

  • Define and execute our sales strategy: Analyze market trends, develop sales goals, and find new growth opportunities.
  • Build and lead a high-caliber sales team: Recruit, onboard, coach, and motivate Account Executives and Sales Development Representatives.
  • Work towards efficiency: Implement sales processes that streamline our pipeline, optimize deal flow, and close complex deals faster.
  • Analyze sales data: Track key performance indicators, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Build strong relationships: Build and maintain rapport with leadership, cross-functional partners, internal teams, and customers.

Your Strengths

  • 10+ years of sales experience, preferably in SaaS platform software.
  • 3+ years of experience managing a Sales team.
  • Entrepreneurial Spirit: Must be a self-starter with a strong desire to learn and grow, preferably with experience working in a growth stage (Series A to Series D) startup environment.
  • Enterprise Sales: Experience selling to and managing the Enterprise segment (companies w/ 1k+ employees).
  • Experience managing a pipeline, and proven track record of success exceeding team quota at a company in Sprig's category of product insights (eg Amplitude, Mixpanel, Qualtrics) or a company that primarily sells to product teams (eg. Miro, Segment, Productboard).
  • Strong work ethic and competitive mindset: You'll work hard and motivate your team to do the same, bringing out their full potential.
  • Adaptability: You understand that change is constant and you embrace it, you move quickly, and you encourage continued improvement.

Employee Pay Disclosure

The base salary range for this full-time position is $185k base ($325k OTE) + Equity + Benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all locations (San Francisco, CA; New York, NY). Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
