We are seeking an experienced cyber and professional lines broker to join our ProEx team. This position will grow and expand an existing book of professional risks by cultivating in-house client relationships and delivering on new business opportunities. This role will report directly to ProEx Senior Vice President.

This role requires contributing to significant responsibilities to build and develop an industry leading portfolio of Cyber Risks clients. Consistently executing on a comprehensive service proposition for clients is a key element of this role. This position will have impact on key insurer relationships, will help drive team execution of strong sales and cross-sell initiatives for Cyber Risk insurance products.

This position is open to our NY, NJ, & PA locations.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Executing on Cyber Risks Value Propositions
  2. Developing relationships with current Hub Commercial Lines service leaders and producers to become a trusted professional resource for cyber risk and executive lines.
  3. Effectively marketing Cyber Risks coverages to our current book of retail clients and working with Hub producers to cultivate new prospects and clients.
  4. Evaluating and identifying cyber and executive exposures.
  5. Soliciting renewal accounts for marketing.
  6. Preparing submissions and submitting to carriers for quotation.
  7. Negotiating terms and conditions of the insurance contracts with the carriers.
  8. Developing a creative and customized insurance program to protect the insured.
  9. Developing and presenting risk transfer solutions to Hub client teams and insureds.
  10. Maintaining new business growth via production goals.
  11. Drive performance of strong sales culture.
  12. Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience and Skill Set Requirements:

  1. 5-10 years of relevant experience.
  2. Strong oral and written communication skills.
  3. Strong presentation and organizational skills.
  4. Results-driven mind-set.
  5. Ability to deliver client-focused solutions that contribute to long-lasting relationships.
  6. Travel to agent and client locations as required (some overnight stays).
  7. Maintain a valid P&C insurance license.

Additional Preferred Skills/Attributes:

  1. Hold a professional designation.
  2. Juris Doctor, MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
  3. Former leadership, team development and performance management experience.
  4. Ability to collaborate and leverage operational, new business and technology opportunities.

The expected pay range for this position is $90,000 to $100,000 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience, and work location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope, and level.
