We are expanding our team and looking for energetic and driven Inside Sales Representatives to join our dynamic team.

Position Summary

As an Inside Sales Representative at Beacon Software, you will play a crucial role in Beacon’s acquisition strategy by identifying, researching, and engaging directly with software companies to join the Beacon family. Your primary responsibility will be to engage with business owners, introducing them to our unique platform and the benefits of joining the Beacon family. Through your efforts, you will help shape the future of Beacon’s growing portfolio of software companies.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Research and identify vertical market software companies aligned with Beacon’s acquisition strategy.
  2. Build persuasive email campaigns and conduct outbound calls with a power dialer to engage potential M&A targets.
  3. Clearly articulate the synergies and value of Beacon's platform to software entrepreneurs.
  4. Build and nurture long-term relationships with software entrepreneurs, understanding their business challenges and growth opportunities.
  5. Schedule and follow up on discovery meetings with potential targets.
  6. Maintain a high level of activity in our CRM system, ensuring accurate and timely tracking of all interactions.
  7. Meet and exceed monthly targets for meaningful contacts and acquisitions.

Qualifications

  1. 1-3 years of experience in sales, M&A, or a related field, ideally in the software or technology sector.
  2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to persuade, learn, inform effectively.
  3. High level of resilience and energy, able to handle high call volumes with a positive and proactive attitude.
  4. Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
  5. Experience with CRM software is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Experience in outreach, relationship-building, or lead generation.
  2. A basic understanding of financial statements, SaaS business models, or M&A processes.
  3. Interest in software, technology, and the broader acquisition ecosystem.
