Innolux USA is seeking a dynamic, results-driven Business Development Manager and Key Accounts Manager to lead the expansion of our LCD display and solutions business in North America. This role is pivotal in driving growth by spearheading strategic sales initiatives and penetrating new markets for Innolux USA. You will be responsible for developing strong relationships with key accounts, identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities, and ensuring the seamless delivery of our products and solutions.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
The Account Manager role is divided into two tasks: Account Management (AM) and Business Development Management (BDM).
- The Account Management portion includes working with the internal team to deliver quotations, proposals, and process orders in accordance with company policy. It also functions as the primary Key Account Manager for a select list of strategic customer partners in the assigned region, utilizing Large Account Management principles and managing all aspects of the sales process and post-sales process, driving customer satisfaction.
- The BDM portion includes building and managing strategic partnerships with key clients in industries such as retail, corporate, government, hospitality, transportation, healthcare, and education. BDM is also responsible for developing sales strategies and implementing business plans focused on revenue growth and market penetration.
Responsibilities:
Account Management
- Acts as a liaison between customers, plants, and affiliate personnel in managing, implementing, and negotiating commercial and business-related issues. Coordinates and provides support in all program activities from initial product concept to product EOP.
- Reviews request for quotation (RFQ) materials and related information. Works with internal departments including engineering and marketing management to proceed with the quote process. Reviews information related to competitors, markets, and customers; reviews engineering and purchasing opinions; helps develop and implement a pricing strategy or approach and presents and negotiates approved pricing to the customer including “total cost” (tooling, NRE, logistics, and packaging).
- Ensures accounts receivable (A/R) information is accurate and inclusive. Works with the accounts receivable department to resolve purchase order (PO) discrepancies and assist with resolving accounts receivable issues. May be involved with complex negotiations related to the resolution of pricing discrepancies with customers or Innolux plants or other situations requiring more decisions.
- Understanding the breakdowns of quotes and submission of quotes.
- NRE, tooling requirements, and invoicing.
- Contract / General Terms & Conditions (GT&C) review.
Business Development Management
- Identifies, forecasts, and acquires new growth opportunities in both new and existing accounts while leveraging Innolux's current business in North America.
- Pursues new business with both new and existing customers based on information and leads obtained from local contacts, existing business as well as corporate headquarters, trade shows, outside sales, and other avenues.
- Utilizes current, or develops new relationships to form strategic partnerships that open new opportunities and/or new markets.
- Interacts with and coordinates activities with Innolux Executives, Business Line Managers, and Engineering/Technology leaders to develop strategies, positions, and products for new opportunities.
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree preferred in business administration or marketing or 3+ years of LCD display business development or account management experience.
Skills & Abilities:
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills, with a good concept of building rapport and relationships with customers.
- Create analysis reports (fill out results) and case studies (work instructions).
- Demonstrate proficiency in utilizing MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, photo-editing, and writing technical reports.
- Ability to travel (International & Domestic) up to 15%.
- Ability to work early/late hours for business meetings.
Preferred:
- Prior experience as OEM or Tier 1 supplier (preferably infotainment or display) account manager.
- Bilingual in English and Mandarin.

Salary: $78,000 - $120,000 per year
