Job description
Mesa is seeking an electrical engineer with strong automation experience and capabilities. This person will need to be able to work independently and drive hard to meet schedule, cost and quality goals on behalf of our clients.
Responsibilities
Troubleshooting/repair/advancement of PLC programming code and process controls.
Creating and maintaining electrical/power/I&C procedures, specifications, manuals and documentation.
Install, calibrate, and troubleshoot process instrumentation and control system components.
Troubleshoot electrical and control issues by reading control wiring schematics and PLC logic.
Experience with programming, start-up, commissioning, and service of complex instrumentation and control systems.
Located North or Northeast of Denver/ the DJ Basin area.
Qualifications
5+ Years Oil & Gas Industry Automation Experience
Specific Experience in:
Programming, start-up, commissioning, and service of complex instrumentation and control systems
Creating controls drawing packages including termination drawings, control cabinets and junction box drawings
Creation of Cause and Effect, Controls Narrative, IO List, and Controls Cable Schedules
Configuring instrumentation and valves
Device integration using industry standard equipment (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Rockwell, GE, Wonderware, Ignition, etc.)
RSLogix 5000 programming, Allen-Bradley PanelView programming, and Ethernet networking
Totalflow, ROC and other flow computers
PLC/HMI programming and site integration
Willing and able to work on site at industrial facilities
Ability to communicate proactively and effectively
