Primary Responsibilities
In the role of Project Manager Environmental, we'll count on you to:
- Direct and coordinate work of single or multidiscipline teams throughout the project’s lifecycle (from development and initiation to close-out)
- Responsible for all aspects of complex small to medium projects or larger projects requiring NEPA compliance
- Produce and coordinate several small to medium projects concurrently
- Establish and maintain client relations, and be involved with marketing, contractual, design and production meetings
- Conduct work sessions for deliverable development in conjunction with other staff and stakeholders
- Coordinate staffing and workload through entire project life cycle, and ensure completion of deliverables on schedule
- Track financial aspects of projects, and coordinate and adjust work effort with team to ensure that work is completed within parameters of agreed-to budget and schedule
- Work with the Accounting, Operational and Business leadership for periodic project reviews
- Implement QA/QC procedures
- Perform other duties as needed
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Planning, Environmental Science or closely related field
- 7 years experience in related field
- A minimum 2 years project management experience
- Proven experience managing the NEPA process for transportation projects
- Self-starter with excellent writing and communication skills
- Strong conceptual, organizational, problem-solving and research skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with NEPA projects for other types of projects, in addition to transportation projects
- Demonstrated knowledge of NEPA and the environmental process
- Experience managing EA/EIS projects
- PMP certification
- At least 8 years experience in NEPA environmental documentation, regulatory compliance and permitting in Pacific Northwest. Familiarity with the suite of technical disciplines required to support environmental review and permitting in (e.g. land use, natural resources, cultural resources).
- Proven experience managing the NEPA process for transportation projects
- Self-starter with excellent writing and communication skills
- Strong conceptual, organizational, problem-solving and research skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

The expected compensation range for this position is $90,580 - $171,132 annually depending upon skills, experience, education and geographical location. Stated benefits are for full-time regular positions. Temporary and part-time roles eligible for limited benefits.)
