The Admissions Counselor also conducts assessments and career counseling, maintains high-quality supervision of the student population, and collaborates with various stakeholders to enhance program services.Conduct comprehensive screening procedures to determine applicants' eligibility and suitability for the Job Corps ProgramSecure and evaluate applicants' behavioral, medical, and educational recordsDeny applicant enrollment and refer applicants to other educational resources as necessaryConduct thorough assessment activities and career counseling during the admissions processServe as a liaison to Center staff to facilitate a seamless enrollment process and early student retentionWork closely with community agencies, employment services, high schools, and trade schools to inform prospective applicants about the Job Corps programConduct Center tours, pre-arrival visits, and Parent meetingsMaintain appropriate personal attendance, accountability, and work productivity standardsMentor, monitor, and model the Career Success Standards as required by the Policy and Requirements Handbook (PRH).Provide high-quality supervision and management for the student populationAbout Adams and Associates Adams and Associates is a 100% employee-owned company that is service-focused and outcome-driven. Bachelor's degree in human services, psychology, counseling, education, social science, communications, or closely related field preferred. Experience may include successful Job Corps enrollment or successful enrollment in other youth development programs.
