Job Description:
The Secured Credit Manager is a leadership role responsible for directing and managing all facets of the Secured Credit Department. The primary mission is to monitor collateral for the banks larger and more complex commercial accounts. This includes overseeing appraisal management, construction loan advance approvals, secured (asset-based) lending monitoring, and dealer floor plan administration. Additionally, the Secured Credit Manager serves as the bank's environmental risk officer. This position requires expertise in financial statement analysis, valuation methodology, and the perfection of security interests. The role demands strong decision-making abilities, independent action, and exceptional communication skills for direct interactions with client ownership and bank executive management. A Bachelors degree in Finance or Accounting is required, with an MBA preferred.
