Job Title: Operations Assistant/Data Entry

Job Summary: We are looking for a detail-oriented Operations Assistant/Data Entry professional to join our team. This role involves heavy data entry, computer, and phone work, with the flexibility to assist in the warehouse as needed. The ideal candidate will have excellent computer skills, strong attention to detail, and a customer service focus.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform data entry tasks, including order entry, product lookup, sales entry, and processing customer requests.
  • Assist customers by building confidence, offering suggestions, and identifying correct parts.
  • Handle parts sales by taking and clarifying customer orders, retrieving and selling new and replacement parts, and maintaining parts databases.
  • Complete sales transactions by entering purchased items into the sales/inventory system, obtaining payment, and issuing sales receipts.
  • Provide prompt and courteous service to all customers and potential customers via phone or email.
  • Assist warehouse staff with picking and packing orders, cycle counting, and shipping/receiving tasks as needed.
  • Enter order data into the system and create accurate packing slips.
  • Assist with the annual inventory count and other duties as assigned by the manager.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of SAP or SYSPRO preferred.
  • Experience in a parts department environment.
  • Strong customer service focus.
  • High school diploma/GED or equivalent work experience.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Hours: 9 AM - 5 PM
Pay Details: $19.00 to $20.00 per hour
