Summary:
Maintains and expands relationships with important large customers in healthcare; assigned to multiple named customers, the Account Manager is responsible for achieving sales quota and assigned strategic account objectives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Represent the entire range of Workplace services to assigned health care customers; while leading the customer account planning cycle and ensuring assigned customers' needs and expectations are met by the company.
Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts.
Coordinate the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, in order to meet account performance objectives and customers' expectations.
Meet assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned accounts.
Proactively lead a joint company-strategic account planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones for a one- and three-year period.
Proactively assess, clarify, and validate customer needs on an ongoing basis.
Lead solution development efforts that best address customer needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company personnel.
Achieve assigned sales quota in designated strategic accounts.
Meet assigned expectations for profitability.
Achieve strategic customer objectives defined by company management.
Maintain high customer satisfaction ratings that meet company standards.
Complete required training and development objectives within the assigned time frame.
Accumulate, produce and present quarterly service and volume reports to customer accounts and Suddath service partners
Present new Suddath programs to existing accounts
Price and present special projects

Qualifications:

Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or five to seven years related experience and/or training in strategic business to business sales; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience supporting healthcare business preferred.
Language Ability:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Math Ability:
Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, and permutations. Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel and Powerpoint
