Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Management or Engineering, a related specialized area or field is required (or equivalent experience) plus a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:
Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred at time of hire. Candidates must be able to obtain a Secret clearance within a reasonable amount of time from date of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

The ideal candidate will join a multi-disciplinary team of engineers and scientists responsible for the operations, maintenance and sustainment of an international network of radionuclide monitoring stations of the International Monitoring System for verification of the Comprehensive Test Ban Treaty.
Work assignments will be completed in accordance with established procedures complying with program, US and International Monitoring Systems reporting requirements. Contributes to the maintenance milestones associated with contract performance under the GDMS Nuclear Monitoring Programs. Work is reviewed and assessed directly by program and customer stakeholders. Must also be able to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team, high paced environment, and interface with customers, prioritize multiple tasks and work in an organized fashion with attention to detail and communicate effectively, both in speaking and writing.
The candidate will develop and administer integrated logistics strategies to support the program to include: inventory management, procurement, facilitating services, shipping/receiving, as well as processing all contract acquired equipment.
- Responsible for shipping spare or replacement parts and supplies to both CONUS and OCONUS locations complying with all company and program requirements.
- Responsible for inventory management of a centralized depot and various field locations
- Investigates and resolves problems relating to delivery, acceptance testing and warranty repairs.
- Maintain liaison with internal functions such as engineering, finance, purchasing and management.
- Provide advisory support for equipment, systems and related logistics for deployed station operators.
- Interacts with international customer contacts to resolve logistical issues.
- Coordinates with program team to update procedures and processes based on lessons learned from field operations.

- Knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Excel and Word
- Knowledge of basic electrical and mechanical skills is necessary.
- In-depth knowledge of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) elements (supply support; maintenance planning; manpower and personnel; technical manuals; training and training equipment; support equipment; facilities; computer resources support; packaging, handling, storage and transportation (PHS&T); design interface; reliability, maintainability and availability (RM&A), how they interact and how they are applied across a program, their effect on a system, plus how a systems’ design and changes affect the ILS elements)
- Knowledge of military/commercial requirements/specifications
- Knowledge of DCMA contract requirements
- Experience with Oracle and IFS desired
- Experience with international shipping (Imports/Exports)
- Knowledge and experience with Intuit QuickBooks
- Knowledge or experience with RFID inventory management solutions
- Proven conflict management skills
- Ability to coordinate with other disciplines for program/project resolutions/enhancements
- Experience operating pallet jacks, forklifts, moving and shipping heavy equipment
- Developing professional expertise, applying company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues
