Director, Project Management Imaging and Cardiac - US all locations - Remote

What you will bring:
- Oversee large teams of Managers and Project Managers to ensure that all necessary processes and procedures for the conduct of Medical Imaging and Cardiac Safety in clinical trials are intact and operating in a mode of quality and continuous improvement within assigned portfolio of studies.
- Responsible for supporting design and execution of overall strategic direction for the Project Management organization and assigned Project Management teams to ultimately meet all customer expectations and project delivery requirements including planning and tracking, problem solving and exception handling.
- Serve as the critical-level escalation point for resolution of customer or cross-functional issues independently leading escalation support for assigned team, or as requested, acting as primary contact for customer team, leveraging and influencing internal resource support and strategic leadership of development and execution of remediation planning.
- Develop, deploy and maintain a Development and Training program for both new hires and a Performance Management program for existing employees to enhance individual skill sets and promote strong performance.
- Maintain and communicate departmental metrics to provide objective statistics within the department.
- Role model strategic leadership and collaboration as well as influence across IMC and within all of ICON in support of overall Project Management and study execution success.
- Support the Senior Director, Project Management with initiatives related to integration, cross-functional collaboration, improvement of quality and processes, financial and operational decision making, representing Project Management at senior or executive leadership meetings.
- Expected to work independently while making decisions which impact the financial, strategic, operational, and commercial aspects of the IMC business.
- Additional responsibilities will include:
- Audit management
- Leading quality/process improvement initiatives including CAPA management
- Governance management and participating in governance committees
- Finance oversight
- Business Development support
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s Level Degree or higher
- Proficient understanding of clinical trial execution with expertise in Medical Imaging and/or Cardiac Safety
- Proven technical experience in understanding and training others on clinical trial protocols and ability to understand complex, technical and scientific issues and lead solutions
- Minimum 7 years Project Management experience
- Minimum 5 years Management experience
- Minimum 5 years Clinical Trial experience
- Willingness to travel up to 20% domestic or international as needed
