Job Title: Software Engineer V

Job Summary:

We’re seeking a talented Full Stack Software Engineer with a strong emphasis on backend development using Python. You’ll be part of our Fixed Income Front Office technology team, working on building next-generation, native cloud-based applications. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys a hands-on approach to the full software development lifecycle and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Skills Required:

1. Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or Physics from a leading university
2. 4+ years of progressive software engineering experience
3. Proficiency in backend programming language(s), particularly Python
4. Experience in building containerized applications and deploying to cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, etc.)
5. Strong knowledge of relevant database technologies (PostgreSQL, SQL Server)
6. Proficiency in Test-Driven Development and writing maintainable, adaptable code

Preferred Skills:

1. Experience in front office software development within Asset Management, Hedge fund, or Investment Bank
2. Understanding of tradable financial instruments (securities, derivatives) and capital markets
3. Proficiency in other programming languages (JavaScript, Typescript, Kotlin)
4. Familiarity with open-source frameworks and development tools (Python libraries, gRPC, Git, CI/CD)
