The Digital Marketing Consultant works directly with clients to understand their business goals, develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategies, and optimize campaigns to ensure success.
This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in digital marketing, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build and maintain client relationships. Roles & Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, building strong relationships and ensuring our clients value our deliverables.
- Understand client business objectives and challenges to provide strategic guidance and recommendations.
- Regularly communicate campaign progress, performance metrics, and actionable insights to clients.
- Embed themselves in the client to be part of their team and trusted consultant.
Digital Strategy Development:
- Analyze client needs and industry trends to develop tailored digital marketing strategies that align with business goals.
- Create comprehensive marketing plans, including SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, content marketing, and PPC campaigns.
- Identify target audiences, set clear objectives, and outline KPIs for each campaign.
Campaign Execution & Optimization:
- Manage and direct digital marketing campaigns across various channels, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with client objectives.
- Monitor and analyze campaign performance, making data-driven adjustments to optimize for ROI and overall effectiveness.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including content creators, designers, and developers, to ensure cohesive campaign execution.
Reporting & Analysis:
- Generate detailed reports on campaign performance, providing clients with actionable insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Use analytics tools to track and measure the success of campaigns, continuously refining strategies based on data.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in digital marketing, preferably in an agency setting.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful digital marketing campaigns.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, including SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, content marketing, and PPC.
- Proficiency in analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush, HubSpot) and CRM systems.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas to clients clearly and effectively.
- Ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously, with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Familiarity with eCommerce platforms like Shopify or WordPress.
- Experience in content creation or copywriting.
