Overview:
This Nurse is a front-line caregiver who serves as liaison to EMS and community, c oordinates the professional education efforts of the stroke network program, and oordinates all organizational certification requirements for Level II Stroke Center. Also assists the Stroke Medical Director with upgrading protocols, policies, procedures and clinical practice guidelines for the stroke patient.
Qualifications:
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years clinical experience required
- Preferred Experience: Stroke Coordinator experience and Coordiantion of Care experience. Prefer at least 1 year Critical Care or ER experience
- Required Education: ADN
- Preferred Education: BSN
- License: current RN license in our state
- Certifications: Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association
