As an EHS Manager, you will provide leadership to employees in the Horse Cave, KY manufacturing facility and support the plant's continuous improvement plan by analyzing challenges and facilitating solutions. You will manage the Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) compliance efforts in a large facility containing multiple, complex operations with 1200+ employees, spanning multiple buildings with a focus on meeting Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) for safety, quality, production, efficiency, and service. We need leaders with a true production mindset who thrive in a highly collaborative environment. Effective communication skills to promote team building and excellent employee relations are a must!   • Tuition reimbursement Core Skills and Qualifications:The ideal candidate must possess all of the following:
    • Bachelor's degree
    • Five (5) years of experience managing EHS initiatives
    • Five (5) years of supervisory experience directly supervising a team of EHS professionals
    • Displays strong interpersonal skills and is accessible and approachable
    • Ability to utilize business sense and creativity to develop new ideas, approaches and solutions Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
      • BS degree in Environmental, Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering or other science field
      • Experience in a manufacturing environment directly supervising a team of EHS professionals
      • Experience managing multi-shift or continuous operations
      • Chemical/plastics processing and packaging industrial experience
      • Lean manufacturing experience
      • Professional Engineer (PE), Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM), Certified Safety Professional (ASP/CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) certification
