We believe that everyone should have access to high-quality medical and dental care, regardless of ability to pay.Job purposeReporting to the Director of Behavioral Health, the Peer/Recovery Specialist is responsible for providing support to individuals with substance use and/or mental health concerns. This role coordinates with FHCHC clinicians and community organizations to identify and address the needs of clients, provide intervention and support services, and assist clients in achieving therapeutic goals. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of recovery and harm reduction processes, is highly organized, and has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Duties and responsibilitiesThe peer/Recovery Specialist will develop and implement individualized recovery plans for clients, including goals and objectives.
