As an Associate, you will work closely with the accounting and advisory client service teams to help entrepreneurs and closely held business owners achieve financial success through growth, transition, and retirement. You will be responsible for executing high-quality services, reviewing the work products from associates and other staff, contributing to proposals, helping mentor and coach junior staff, and support the overall growth of the practice.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Take lead on delivery of accounting services, including preparations, compilations, and reviews
  • Assist in providing advisory services related to entity setup and restructuring, budgeting\/forecasting, capital transactions, and financial analysis
  • Develop a strong understanding of client operations and processes
  • Support the development and mentorship of staff accountants
  • Assist in maintaining long-term relationships with clients
  • Identify opportunities for improving client services and assist in expanding the firm's client base
    Prefered Qualifications and Skills:
    • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
    • Minimum of 1 year of experience
    • Solid understanding of US GAAP and financial statement preparation
    • Strong Excel skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
