The Associate will support clients of the firm in advice and counsel matters, including compliance, drafting employment agreements, drafting restrictive covenants, drafting confidentiality agreements, and providing training and counsel to employers as “best practices” to avoid litigations.
Our client, a successful mid-sized firm, is seeking an Associate with 2-to-5 years of peer firm or Big Law experience representing mid-to-large market clients in management side labor and employment matters. Superior writing skills, strong presentation abilities and the ability to communicate clearly required. Experience writing employee handbooks, company policies and procedures and a variety of other employment documentation required.
JD from a top tier law school (high GPA), law review and other writings and clerkships are preferred. Solid experience with minimum firm movement preferred. NY Bar admission required. Compensation includes salary (180K-225K+) plus a reasonably attained billable hours bonus and solid benefits package.
