JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Summary: Join our innovative act! team (academic technology & teaching !nnovation) at the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Nursing (SoN). We are a small, dynamic group dedicated to empowering SoN faculty and teaching assistants to enhance nursing education through the thoughtful and deliberate use of cutting-edge technologies (such as active learning classrooms, multimedia content, and emerging uses of AI) combined with evidence-based teaching strategies. As an act! Advanced Specialist, you will collaborate with colleagues on impactful projects that enhance teaching and learning across all SoN degree and certificate programs, contributing to student engagement, retention, and success. In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead and participate in initiatives that identify, pilot, and implement innovative, technology-enhanced instructional strategies. Your work will directly support faculty, course leads, and program directors in creating engaging, effective learning experiences for nursing students across face-to-face, blended, and online environments. Responsibilities: Designs, develops, and enhances instructional activities, programs, and curricula. Applies learning theory and instructional design models in the consultation, selection, and application of educational methodologies and technologies. 15% Designs and develops engaging, effective learning experiences which may be face-to-face, blended, and/or online 15% Designs, develops, organizes, maintains, and consults on instructional materials, activities, curricula, and assessment resources in accordance with current pedagogical practices, cognitive/learning science, and design tools and methods 10% Researches, designs, and/or acquires learning resources, technologies, materials, and/or processes to support learning 10% Provides training and technical support directly to learners in settings such as classrooms, labs, clinics, and distance learning mediums 10% Provides consultation, training, and/or...
