Breast Cancer Angels provides immediate and temporary assistance with:

• Everyday immediate needs including housing assistance, transportation, food, utility payments and more during breast cancer treatment

• Our Social worker will assist you with locating other resources and provide you with compassionate and emotional support.

• While going through breast cancer we are able to provide you with Legal advice for family law.

Role Overview:

As the Executive Director of Breast Cancer Angels, you will lead a dynamic, mission driven organization through a broad range of activities from strategic management to daily operational tasks. This role demands a highly versatile leader who thrives in a multitasking environment and possesses a profound dedication to our cause. You will work closely with your assistant, in a tight-knit team, ensuring that both high-level strategic goals and day-to-day tasks are executed with precision and compassion.


Key Responsibilities:


1. Executive Management:

a. Begin each day prioritizing tasks, managing emails, and setting the agenda based on urgent needs and ongoing projects.

b. Maintain open lines of communication with the board, responding promptly to their requests and preparing for board meetings.


2. Fundraising and Development:

a. Engage with potential event collaborators, qualify leads to determine the feasibility of partnerships, and oversee all aspects of event planning and execution.

b. Actively pursue grant opportunities, manage submissions, work alongside the grant writer to obtain grants, and ensure compliance with grant requirements.


3. Program Management:

a. Directly interact with clients to assess their needs, processing applications, and managing the distribution of aid.

b. Oversee comprehensive program activities, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and effective support delivery.

c. Handle client inquiries, providing immediate assistance and connecting them with necessary resources.

d. Build rapport with clients and their families, ensuring their needs are met with empathy and efficiency.


4. Accounting and Financial Management:

a. Manage day-to-day financial tasks including accounting and payroll, utilizing QuickBooks and ADP.

b. Conduct financial reporting, ensuring transparency and accuracy in all transactions.


5. Administrative and Operational Support:

a. Oversee administrative tasks including office maintenance, crisis management, and routine office duties.

b. Manage task delegation, ensuring efficient workflow and effective resource use.


Qualifications:

• Extensive experience in nonprofit leadership, with proven skills in fundraising, event planning, and program management.

• Exceptional multitasking and organizational skills, capable of managing a wide array of tasks from strategic planning to detailed administrative duties.

• Proficiency in financial management tools like QuickBooks, and experience with payroll systems such as ADP. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, essential for team leadership and external engagement.

• Deep commitment to the cause of breast cancer support, with a drive to ensure no woman is turned away.
