MCS Group are delighted to be partnering with a revolutionary HealthTech AI Start up to find an Electrical Technician for an Ad Hoc/On Call contract based in New Hampshire.
In this role, you will be responsible for soldering, de-souldering, assembling, testing, troubleshooting, debugging and repairing circuit boards for various electronic systems/Prototypes.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in soldering, using diagnostic tools like multimeters, and a strong attention to detail.

Role is AS AND WHEN REQUIRED -Would suit someone retired, or with ongoing flexibility

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble, inspect, and test printed circuit boards (PCBs) and electronic components.
  • Perform soldering and desoldering of surface-mount and through-hole components.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues using multimeters and other diagnostic tools.
  • Ensure proper functioning of circuit boards through functional testing.
  • Follow schematics and technical drawings to accurately build and repair circuits.
  • Work with engineers to modify, upgrade, and enhance electronic systems.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an Electrical Technician, ideally with PCB work.
  • Proficiency in soldering, both surface-mount and through-hole components.
  • Experience using multimeters and other diagnostic tools for troubleshooting.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings.
  • Strong attention to detail and precision in assembling and repairing electronics.
  • Familiarity with ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) safety procedures.


Hours & Compensation:

  • Flexible part-time schedule
  • Competitive hourly pay (Depending on Experience)


Location: This is an on-site position located in the Hudson/Nashua New Hampshire area.
