We are searching for innovative Designers with experience creating engaging spaces for Hospitality, Multi-family Residential clients, and/or Workplaces for Technology, Financial Services Firms, and Professional Services Firms.
What You Will Do
- Lead architectural deliverables on projects, working with Design Director(s), Technical Director(s), and project team(s) for all project phases, including conceptual designs, presentations, schematic design, design development, construction documents, and production.
- Provide creative direction to design teams.
- Collaborate with design team, clients, consultants, contractors, fabricators, regulatory agencies, and other vendors to meet overall project objectives.
- Resolve complex design issues with innovative and practical solutions.
- Produce graphic presentations, 3D renderings, and construction drawings.
- Assist in managing client expectations, team communication, and consultant coordination.
- Contribute to office activities, initiatives, and learning programs.
- Advance the understanding that design resilience is a responsibility of every person at Gensler.
- Cultivate design expertise with the desire to always learn, grow, and evolve.

Your Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture from an accredited program.
- 8 - 20 years of relevant architecture and design experience, with a strong background designing multiple building typologies of varying scale (Hospitality, Multi-family Residential, and/or Workplaces for Technology, Financial Services Firms, and Professional Services Firms).
- Must be proficient in Revit, Rhino, Grasshopper, Parametric Modeling, Sketch-up, 3D Studio Max, VRay, and Adobe Suite.
- Knowledge of materials, construction techniques, and building codes.
- Strong knowledge of the design process.
- Outstanding conceptual 3-dimensional thinking and graphic presentation skills to effectively communicate design ideas.
- Flexibility to focus on concurrent projects in various stages of development.
- Ability to communicate design ideas and direction quickly.
- A quick learner with an ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
- Creative Initiator that brings curiosity, enthusiasm, and a "can do" attitude.
- Strong leadership, organization, communication, and relationship management skills.
- Licensed / Registered Architect.
- Demonstrated commitment to sustainability and sustainable building practices; portfolios should include at least one project (especially built projects with LEED, Living Building Challenge, WELL Building Standard, Fitwel, and/or Net Zero Building certification) with this particular focus, which we look forward to discussing during the interview.
