We are seeking an experienced IT Manager to lead and manage a variety of IT operations in a dynamic start-up environment. This role involves Windows administration , setting up hardware and software for new employees, troubleshooting IT systems, and providing broad technical support across the company. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver with strong leadership abilities and a passion for helping others. You will play a pivotal role in team building , coaching staff, and ensuring the reliability and security of all IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Windows Administration : Oversee and maintain all Windows systems for optimal performance and security.
  2. New Employee Setup : Manage the installation and configuration of hardware and software to ensure seamless onboarding.
  3. Hardware and Software Support : Troubleshoot and resolve issues with computers, printers, and peripherals.
  4. IT Support : Provide comprehensive tech support across the organization, addressing a wide range of IT-related issues.
  5. Network Management : Maintain and optimize network infrastructure for stability and efficiency.
  6. Data Security : Implement and monitor security protocols to protect company data.
  7. Team Building & Management : Lead, mentor, and grow the IT team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.
  8. Documentation : Maintain detailed and up-to-date records of IT systems, policies, and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  2. 5+ years of experience in IT management, with a proven track record of leading IT teams in a fast-paced environment.
  3. Expertise in Windows administration , including installation, configuration, and maintenance of Windows servers and desktops.
  4. Strong network management skills , with experience in configuring routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
  5. Solid knowledge of cybersecurity protocols and experience implementing data protection strategies.
  6. Proven experience in hardware and software support , including troubleshooting complex issues across various systems.
  7. Demonstrated ability to lead and grow an IT team , providing mentorship, coaching, and fostering a collaborative environment.
  8. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple stakeholders.
  9. Experience in IT project management , including budgeting, vendor management, and resource allocation.
  10. Ability to thrive in a start-up or dynamic environment , with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
  11. Familiarity with cloud solutions and virtualization technologies (e.g., Azure, AWS, VMware) is a plus.

Desired Certifications (Optional but Preferred)

  1. Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or similar
  2. CompTIA Network+ , Security+
  3. Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
  4. Project Management Professional (PMP)
