Your Responsibilities

  1. Support pharmacy practice leader to maintain and grow scope of pharmacy consulting practice.
  2. Serve as an extension of the core account team to support pharmacy related consulting activities.
  3. Coordinate the efforts of pharmacy practice team and pharmacy analytics team members to fulfill project responsibilities.
  4. Communicate with vendor partners and other series pharmacy practice associates.
  5. Correspond with clients via phone and email about ongoing operational projects.
  6. Partner with practice leader and account teams on PBM contract renewal activities, repricing, savings projections and marketing (RFP) projects.
  7. Support account team on PBM implementations to ensure the best possible outcomes.
  8. Review drafts of PBM contracts, employee pharmacy communication pieces, and other documents as needed.
  9. Prepare written correspondence, reports, and analyses as needed.
  10. Develop and maintain an extensive knowledge of pharmacy marketplace, specialty rx trends, managed care rx tactics.
  11. Assist with and/or lead special projects for clients as needed. Special products may include creative ad-hoc analytics, benchmarking exhibits, research and educational materials.
  12. Utilize and collaborate to enhance pharmacy analytic tools to identify trends and cost savings opportunities on behalf of Lockton clients.

Qualifications

  1. Associates / Bachelor's degree in a Finance analytics-related field and/or equivalent experience in the Rx industry.
  2. Minimum of 3 years of experience with pharmacy benefits including PBM contracting and/or pricing experience.
  3. Must have strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills to interact with fellow associates and clients.
  4. Organizational and time management skills to prioritize workload and meet deadlines required. Must be results-oriented with the ability to change priorities as needed.
  5. Ability to interpret financial information and data to facilitate client decision making.
  6. Must have the ability to prepare and possibly present client/internal presentations.
  7. Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  8. Must have strong internal and external customer service skills, along with the ability to develop strong and rewarding relationships.
  9. Legally able to work in the United States.
  10. Pharmacy technician certification (CPhT) is a plus.
  11. Be able to exercise creative problem solving in partnership with clients, PBMs and account teams.
  12. Must be located in the Southeast, preferably near the Atlanta or Charlotte Lockton office.
  13. Must be able to travel up to 25% of the time.
