Position Highlights:

General Summary:
Participate in a variety of duties in the areas of dosimetry, calibration, treatment, planning, radiation protection and safety as they relate to radiation physics.
What you will do:
- Knowledge and application of policies and procedures that apply to job and area of responsibility.
- Ability to perform all mandatory QA on treatment units.
- Ability to troubleshoot machine issues.
- Ability to perform all calibrations of treatment units.
- Knowledge of CT simulators.
- Ability to produce highly complex planning including XBT, IMRT SRS, HDR.
- Ability to use fusion in creation of complex planning.
- Ability to review plans with all clinical staff MD's and Therapists to ensure accurate and safe treatment of patients.
- Ability to work with MD's on special treatment procedures.
- Brachytherapy (LDR, HDR).
- Radiosurgery both cranial and extracranial.
- IMRT.
- TBI.
What you will need:
- Masters Degree Required or PhD preferred with training in specialized aspects of therapeutic radiological physics.
- 5+ years in Radiation Oncology experience.
- (ABR) American Board of Radiology or (ABMP) American Board of Medical Physics required.
