Role Title: Network Engineering Manager

Role Description:

This role requires profound technical expertise and strategic management capabilities to lead the design, installation, and management of enterprise networking solutions and related components. Additionally, this role will involve providing high-level input on system architecture and design changes and analyzing and resolving system hardware, software, and networking issues.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree
• Networking: 10-12 years
• Telecom experience
• Cisco CCNA certification.
• 10+ years of experience in installing, upgrading, and maintaining Cisco ISR routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
• Solid grasp of IP routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP).
• Expertise in Cisco ASA, Routing, Switching, QoS, Meraki WAP, and SolarWinds Monitoring.
• Familiarity with TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VPN, DMVPN, SDWAN.
• Experience with LAN hardware, including patch panels, Fiber Optic, Cat5e, and Cat 6 wiring.
• Strong working knowledge of technologies related to network infrastructure.
• Proficiency in supporting IP Telephony, Linux, Microsoft Server, Windows, and SolarWinds monitoring tools.
• Dealing with Vendor management, Resource management (ordering, etc.), Security piece- need understanding
• People/team management experience
• Interest or experience in new network design- looking to move from Cisco to SD WAN- Fortinet, big hands-on development opportunities
