Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate welding machines to ensure high-quality welds on trailer parts
- Safely operate industrial equipment such as overhead cranes, forklifts, and other tools
- Follow safety protocols while working with heavy equipment, flammable materials, and high-voltage systems
- Adapt to varying temperature conditions, from cold winters to hot summers
- Use radial arm saws, drills, grinders, and cut-off wheels efficiently
- Read and interpret blueprints, perform basic math calculations, and measure accurately using a tape measure
- Wear appropriate safety gear when working at heights or in close proximity to colleagues
- Complete additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor while adhering to company policies
- Minimum of 2 years of welding experience
- Ability to stand, kneel, bend, and work overhead as required
- Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds regularly
