Qualifications & Responsibilities:

1. Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
2. Current, Unencumbered New Jersey Registered Nurse License
3. Previous long-term care experience is preferred but not required.
4. Prior experience in inpatient and palliative care is preferred
5. Prior experience managing staff is preferred
6. Supervise the nursing staff on assigned shift by: monitoring the distribution of medications, blood draws, and other elements of patient care.
7. Conduct nursing rounds on each unit multiple times throughout the shift.
8. Provide education, as needed, to staff, residents and resident family members.
9. Assess the unique needs of each patient to determine appropriate treatment plans
10. Track treatments and patient progress according to HIPAA guidelines
11. Coordinate with supervising physicians to ensure smooth recovery process for residents
12. Ensure staff are performing all duties in accordance with local, state, and federal guidelines
13. Other duties as assigned by Assistant Director of Nursing, Director of Nursing or Administrator
14. Licensed Practical Nurse may be considered

Schedules & Benefits:

1. Schedule: Full time, M-F, weekend shifts TBD
2. Daily Pay Option
