ATS Company: SP IndustriesRequisition ID: 13266Location:Gardiner, NY, US, 12525Date: Oct 12, 2024Test Technician - ThermalATS Scientific Products is expanding our team and has an immediate opening for aTest Technician!This role is based in our Gardiner, NY Facility and is responsible for testing of complete units to meet our customers' expectations.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESPerform the selection of specialized test equipment setup calibration testing and troubleshooting of moderately complex circuits, components, instruments and mechanical assembliesAssist Final Test Manager and Engineering to develop test specifications methods and proceduresMonitor progress, relay concerns and provide status reportsPerform complex testing operations and complete all required documentation and graphs of testing to highlight areas for concernWork independently with moderate supervisionGood visual and manual dexterityStrong understanding of related mechanics and flow control elementsAbility to read complicated drawings, mathematics, handbook formulas and a variety of testing and measuring instrumentsAbility to exercise discretion and independent judgmentAbility to interact with other members of the organizationEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEAA Degree or equivalent work experience requiredVocational or technical training or equivalent required2-4 years production or related work experience requiredDigital and/or analogue systems testing experience preferredExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenStrong analytical skills are requiredPromotes and practices ATS leadership standardsStrong MS Office Outlook Word excel and PowerPoint skillsHSEAll employees have the responsibility to work in a safe manner and report any health, safety or environmental concern to their manager or supervisor in a timely manner.
