Padagis is seeking a current college student or recent graduate to work as a Data Science Intern, working closely with our Commercial Team to provide data analysis and support for modeling initiatives, and to support ongoing business planning and analytics needs. his is part-time, temporary position targeting 20 hours per week hybrid/on-site, January-April 2025, with the possibility of extension for up to six months.

Duties:
- Performing detailed analysis to deliver insight and support analytics initiatives
- Working closely with the Commercial Team to provide data analysis and support for modeling initiatives
- Data visualization dashboard creation using Power BI
- Supporting data exploration to evaluate ideas for new analytics use case opportunities
- Other ongoing data analytics work as needed
Required qualifications:
- Incoming juniors, seniors or graduate students
- Pursuing an undergraduate/grad degree in Data Analytics, Mathematics, or related business discipline
- Open to learning, providing feedback and/or receiving feedback on performance
- Detail oriented with good communication and presentation skills
- Analytical capabilities - being able to see things differently than others with substance and relevance
- Coding in Python or R for statistical modelling and integrations into BI platforms (desired, but not required)
- Available to work roughly 20 hours/week for up to twelve (12) weeks in Jan-April 2205.
Preferred qualifications:
- Coding in Python or R for statistical modelling and integrations into BI platforms
