Position: Senior Revenue Accountant

Location: Denver, CO

Position Summary: Crowheart Energy, LLC is conducting a search for a Senior Revenue Accountant. This position will be responsible for recording revenue transactions and accruals monthly, assist with analysis of revenue accounts and identifying and cleaning up items in accounts. The Senior Revenue Accountant should be organized, self-driven, proactive, detail-oriented and a team player. It is critical that this role delivers quality, timely results while working well cross-functionally. This role will report to the Revenue Manager.

Salary Range: $100,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience level and qualifications.

Responsibilities:

  • Record Revenue for operated and non-operated properties
  • Process prior period adjustments for volume, value, and other applicable adjustments
  • Prepare and record monthly accrual entries
  • Assist in preparing monthly account reconciliations
  • Assist with revenue distribution processes
  • Assist with tax and royalty reporting processes
  • Assist with special projects and operational accounting research

Desired Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, or related field of study
  • Knowledge of state and federal compliance reporting requirements, preferably with experience with Wyoming assets
  • Excalibur or BOLO experience preferred
  • Ability to thrive in both an independent and collaborative work environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to interact effectively with all levels throughout the organization
  • Excellent organization skills

Requirements:

  • At least 5-10 years revenue accounting experience with previous oil & gas experience
  • Strong attention to detail, highly organized, and able to multi-task
  • Strong proficiency using Microsoft Excel
