The Senior Living and Long-Term Care Team (SLTC) delivers software that improves the lives of over half a million seniors annually. Focusing on out-of-hospital care and Electronic Health Records (EHR), the SLTC team offers a substantial portfolio of SaaS applications with the goal of making the caregiver’s job easier, faster, and more reliable. Our goal is to deliver a consistently exceptional experience for patients and customers worldwide, fostering trust as the foremost digital health ecosystem for out-of-hospital care.

The Full Stack, Full Lifecycle engineer on this team will be part of a systematic transformation of our technology stacks, architecture, design, user experience, process, and culture. Specifically, we are working to unify platform services common across our applications to improve quality, user experience, and engineer efficiency. At the same time, the team is embracing new opportunities to enhance the product offering for our customers by incorporating machine learning to better provide clinical and financial insights to caregivers, patients, and family members.

Let’s talk about the role

  • Full life-cycle responsibilities include (SDLC): Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain software; Deliver quality product within timeline; Document product design;
  • Debug existing code to fix defects in software
  • Write software tests and unit tests to validate software solutions leveraging test-driven development techniques
  • Lead and participate in architectural, design, and code reviews providing insight to other engineers and their solutions
  • Collaborate with User Experience teams to design and develop intuitive, simple software interfaces for our end users
  • Regularly interacts with engineering and architectural leadership, product management, project leadership, technical services, support, and customers
  • Frequently leads sub-functional teams or projects and trains and mentors junior team members.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system performance issues leveraging software algorithm design best practices
  • Leverage known secure programming principles to design new software solutions, services, components, and interfaces that meet industry and government standards for security and data protection

Let’s talk about you

  • Bachelor’s Degree - in any Engineering stream – Computer Science, Data Science preferred
  • 8+ years of professional development and engineering experience
  • Experience in developing Web applications using React JS, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3
  • Experience with backend REST API development in .NET / NodeJS.
  • Experience in writing automation test cases using frameworks like Selenium / Cypress / Cucumber / K6 / JMeter
  • Experience with Object Oriented Programming
  • Experience with CI /CD pipeline creation and deployments.
  • Experience developing enterprise software applications in an n-tier architecture.
  • Hands-on experience breaking a software monolith into microservices utilizing the “strangler fig” design pattern or similar
  • Experience with developing cloud native solutions especially for AWS
  • Experience with CI/CD and agility focused on high velocity value delivery to customers

It would be a plus if you have:

  • Healthcare Technology industry experience is a plus

This role is eligible to receive an annual cash bonus payment based on company, business unit, and/or individual performance.

Base Pay Range for this position: $123,000 - $185,000
