Job Title: Senior Director, Human Resources
Location: San Ramon, CA
Job Description:
This is a full-time position based in our San Ramon office with the possibility of, over time, working from home 2-3 days per week. The responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:
- Provide Human Resources advisor to all levels of management.
- Provide counsel and mentoring daily on employee motivation and performance matters.
- Proactively develop programs to enhance retention, performance, diversity, and foster the uniquely caring and positive culture that establishes our competitive position and keeps our company a place where employees want to work.
- Build strong relationships and work with external HR Consulting/Payroll firm to best serve employees and firm.
- With administrative support, oversee effective and timely execution of day-to-day HR operational processes including:
- Recruiting, hiring, and onboarding.
- Guiding supervisors through employee development and improvement plans.
- Handling employee terminations and exit interviews.
- PTO administration.
- Benefits tracking, auditing and administration.
- FMLA compliance, employee leaves, documentation.
- Annual review and merit process.
- HR compliance reporting.
- Annual review of HR law changes and implementation.
- Plan and organize company social and philanthropic events.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess skills and work experience in the following key areas:
- Five years HR management experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent knowledge from professional experience.
- Strong initiative, quick learner.
- High level of professionalism.
- Excellent verbal and written communications.
- Strong organization and multi-tasking abilities.
- Excellent computer proficiency (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PDF).
- Positive attitude and enthusiastic personality.
- Punctual and reliable.
- A strong desire to succeed and to contribute in a professional environment.
- Strong ability to work independently, but also as part of a cooperative team.
Details:
This is a full-time exempt position and salary will depend on experience. Salary range is $100-$110K with an opportunity for an annual bonus of up to 10% of salary based on performance.
