Job Description
The Staff Accountant position reports to the Accounting Manager and is primarily responsible for balance sheet reconciliation, system implementation (UAT/parallel testing), information tracking as well as financial reporting. This role will support the accounting department.
  • Perform end-of-month closing and post-closing activities such as preparing general ledger entries, assisting with balance sheet reconciliations, compiling data and supporting documentation for journal entries.
  • Support the Accounting Manager in enhancing the Company's existing accounting procedures and internal controls and seek opportunities to improve accounting operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Ensure all corporate policies and SOP's are adhered to and recommend policy changes and improvements as necessary.
  • Support the quarterly, and annual internal and external audit requests.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Minimum 2 years of accounting experience, specializing in general ledger.
  • Understand of and the ability to adhere to generally accepted accounting principles.
  • Proven ability to prioritize workloads across team members with minimal supervision.
  • Detail-oriented, organized and able to perform work at the highest levels of accuracy.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, particularly Excel, and knowledge of Oracle system experience.
  • Excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills to develop a collaborative working relationship with cross functional teams.

The expected salary for this position is $70,733.00 - 113,172.00.
