Foil Press Operator

Job description
We are looking for a detail-oriented team player to join our University Frames family. This person must be able to perform various tasks that our mat design room may require, so flexibility is key.
Required Skills:

• Must be able to work in a high paced, high pressure, production environment.
• Must work well in a team environment. We are one big machine.
• Needs to be available to work occasional Saturdays (overtime) if asked to do so.
• Understanding of English is a must. Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.
• Needs to be able to stand for long periods of time (will spend most of the day on your feet).
• Needs to be proficient at math. Will be measuring inches, ¼ inches, down to a 1/16 of an inch, and converting fractions.
• Great attention to detail. Good eyes are a must as this position will require great quality control.
• Must be okay with repetitive motions, being able to lift about 20 lbs regularly.

Job Duties:

• Assist with stamping mat board using the hot foil press machine.
• Measure, and adjust all stamped imprints to ensure quality control.
• Precisely and accurately cut, measure, and assemble mat board.
• Ensure a smooth transition of orders to the next stage of production by using clear communication.
• Organize, file and maintain cleanliness in the workplace.
• Support production team on an as-needed basis.
