Job Description
The role of Assistant Sales Manager is essential to keeping the brands we work with aligned and moving in the right direction. It is important all teams work cross functionally to ensure the production process from start to finish runs smoothly. This role is a bridge between customer and production follow up. This role will require analytical abilities, creative thinking, historical data keeping, and knowledge of market trends, just to name a few.
Job Tasks
  • Update key documents on a daily/weekly/monthly basis as needed, such as: Store Reports, Financial Sheets, Best Seller Reports, Quarterly Financial Reports, Key Customer Quarterly Updates, etc.
  • Keeping track of customer T&As, POs, Confirmations, Targets & Projections, Costing Sheets, Development Deadlines
  • Liaison for any parcel sending through DHL/UPS/Fedex for parcels being sent to customers or for parcels being sent for presentations.
  • Within 3-6 Months of employment, taking on communication to our customers and being a main contact for follow up (accounts to be decided on at a later date).
  • Be available to travel as needed, primarily New York meeting based, but could have travel to Los Angeles, Columbus, Hong Kong, plus other domestic travel and international travel depending on the needs of the business.
  • Annual planning for all customer appointments, with monthly follow up and adjustments. Must strategize with cross functional partners Design & Merch to align with customer calendars.
  • Help manage cross functional meetings- help prep related documents, manage calendar invites/invitees
  • Be able to access customer 3rd party systems to pull POs, Tech Packs, & any other documents that might be required.
  • Be responsive & available when the customer needs a call to work through issues and help relay that information to cross functional teams accordingly. Follow up on said issues until the issues are resolved.
  • Prepare seasonal kick off documents for each company we work with. Documents will be work in progress references for our design teams to help collections to be curated accordingly.
  • Store visits to all of our customers stores at least once a month with pictures for store reports.
  • Staying up to date on retail happenings and reporting when anything of significance happens within the marketplace.
  • Take charge of recapping and keeping notes on all in person customer meetings, be accountable for all styles selected, send back all unselected items to our design team, generate recaps for both internal design & merch & external customer.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree & related experience
  • Passion for the retail world and it's happenings
  • Be a self-starter and have ownership of required tasks
  • An eye for product and trends
  • An understanding of retail analytics and financial metrics
  • Ability to communicate with customers & cross functional partners, clearly and efficiently
  • Willingness to travel domestically and international if needed as well as be available for calls.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, Canva, Microsoft Teams, Google Drive.
Compensation/Benefits:
  • The approximate annual base salary range for this position is $75,000.00 - $84,000.00. The offered salary or salary range for this position will vary based on role requirements, skill set and years of experience.
