As part of a small, passionate, and accomplished team of experts, you will support accounting and financial tracking for multi-companies and multi-locations. You will share in the team's impact on all financial accounting and reporting aspects. You will be responsible for the accurate collection and costing of labor. The ideal candidate possesses critical thinking and analytical skills to drive continuous process improvements while focusing on operational excellence. Success in this position is critical to realizing Blue Origin’s goal of lowering the cost of access to space.

This position will directly impact the history of space exploration and will require your dedicated commitment and detailed attention toward safe and repeatable spaceflight. Passion for our Mission is required!

Responsibilities:

  1. Support time collection process by helping employees and following up on missing timesheets
  2. Ensure all employees data matches with HR and ERP system
  3. Post weekly/bi-weekly Timesheet data into ERP system
  4. Ensure corrections to timesheet data are entered accurately and timely
  5. Support Blue Origin employees by working labor tickets and labor e-mails
  6. Assist with general ledger analysis, month-end close, and quarter-end close activities which would include reconciling labor hours posted to payroll payments
  7. Identify process improvement opportunities and assist with implementation
  8. Provide support and schedules for external and internal audits
  9. Manage special projects and perform duties as required

Minimum qualifications:

  1. 1+ year of professional experience in payroll, labor accounting, or timekeeping
  2. Strong proficiency in MS Excel
  3. Strong written and oral communication skills
  4. Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Compensation range for on site WA applicants is $73,000-$108,240. Other site ranges may differ.
