Java Developer

Location: Denver, CO

Qualifications:

• 6+ years of experience with Java development, with a strong focus on Microservices .
• Experience with Spring Boot , Spring Cloud , or similar frameworks.
• Working knowledge of Python for backend scripts or automation.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, SOAP , and JSON .
• Familiarity with Docker , Kubernetes , and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git, etc.).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
• Knowledge of relational databases (SQL ) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications with a focus on Microservices architecture .
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate solutions within existing systems.
• Develop and optimize RESTful APIs and ensure their smooth operation in production.
• Work closely with DevOps teams to deploy applications in a containerized environment (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing applications to improve performance and maintainability.
• Write efficient, scalable, and reusable code.
• Support automation efforts and backend tasks using Python when necessary.
• Collaborate in an Agile/Scrum environment and contribute to code reviews and best practices.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with message brokers like Kafka or RabbitMQ .
• Exposure to DevOps practices and tools.
• Familiarity with AWS Lambda or serverless architectures .
