MUST:
2 years of Medical Assistant experience
Must have some family/pediatrics experience and comfortable working in pediatrics
Must be certified or registered and have medical assistant diploma
Must have internal medicine experience
Experience obtaining vitals and rooming patients
Strong clinical experience including vitals, wound care, EKG's, injections, assisting with
Experience assessing patients
Experience entering patient data into EMR
Strong experience educating patients
Strong charting experience
DUTIES:
Duties include but are not limited to the following:
Rooming patients
Obtaining vitals
Go over medical histories
Educate patients and work with disease management
Processing labs
Assisting doctors with exams and as needed
Working with EMR
Phlebotomy
Give injections, process labs, EKG's and phlebotomy
