Posting Number: S06051PDepartment: Materials Science and EngineeringSalary Range: $40,000Pay Basis: MonthlyPosition Status: Regular full-timeLocation: RichardsonJob Description:The lab technician will be working for the MSE Core Facilities, helping the different facility managers in their daily duties. Duties and Responsibilities:Inventory: gases and chemicals, consumables, tools.Miscellaneous installations: gas lines, equipment, electrical installation, among others.Maintenance and repair of experimental systems.Place orders.Design and machining of mechanical parts.Weekly report to MSE Core Facilities Director.Data acquisition ( XPS , XRD , LEIS , FTIR , Raman and more).Minimum Qualifications:Associate degree with a minimum of two years hands on experience.
