This role is centered around finished goods inventory control from production to distribution. This individual should be able to work with external and internal platforms to create data sets leading to actionable logistics decisions. The individual should be self-motivated and willing to solve operational deviations on a daily basis. Self-perpetuated investigation of inbound and outbound deviations is vital. This role will have the ability to work in a fast-paced and exciting production facility. This new addition will see and learn all aspects of supply chain from unfinished goods procurement, production, sales operations, marketing, nutrition, and finance.
Responsibilities:
- Collect data on supply chain operations and provide reports on performance
- Analyze data to identify areas of supply chain operations to improve efficiency
- Tracking of stock movements to minimize production to warehouse and warehouse to warehouse discrepancies
- Warehouse error, inefficiency identification and troubleshooting
- Use of external portals to aggregate data
- Predictive stock movement analysis
- Daily discrepancy and shortage analysis
- Daily EDI transaction monitoring and troubleshooting
- Daily warehouse communication and discrepancy investigation
- Monitor and investigate records of inventory transactions, including negative/positive adjustments- suggesting actionable ways to reduce
- Identification of continuous automation opportunities- actionable steps to bring to IT/Development
- Invoice validation and follow-up
- Relaying of quality deviations to proper production channels and remediations of these issues
- Interpretation of customer claims and creation of operational ways of working to reduce issues
- Filing warehouse claims
- Warehouse KPI aggregation and report card presentation
- Short dated product control / lot and expiration dates corrections
- Other duties as assigned by manager.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or other related field.
- 3 or more years of experience in supply chain or logistics
- A minimum of 2 years of data analytics experience
- Food or CPG background is a plus, but not required
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Proficiency in data analysis tools, techniques, and software, including advanced Excel functions including but not limited to vlookups, if statements, pivot tables, etc.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and their data structures
- Detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy and integrity
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work on multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
- Continuous learning mindset to stay updated with industry trends and emerging analytics techniques
