Senior Energy Analyst - Transmission

One of our top clients in Baltimore, MD is looking for transmission analyst to join the team! This role is Hybrid and reports directly to the head of transmission.

Key Responsibilities:

• Knowledge to apply problems solving approaches using engineering theories
• Perform economic studies to support utility clients on timelines
• Perform transmission studies and analysis using power flow models
• Help lead financial and decision modeling activities
• Develop innovative structured transactions tailored to mitigate risk, enhance profitability, and capitalize on market inefficiencies.
• Perform in a fast paced business environment with strong communication skills

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Strong technical, mathematical and econometric ability
• Experience with PSSE, PowerWorld, or similar models
• Experience with PROMOD, UPLAN, or similar models
• Excellent understanding of power system analysis across various ISOs
