Internal Medicine, Salem
Our practice is located at the convenient location of 331 Highland Ave in Salem, MA. As an Internal Medicine office, we provide outstanding primary care and preventative health care to adult patients.

The Vision
We are seeking a full-time Medical Assistant or LPN to join our practice onsite, Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm. On Mondays, the Medical Assistant or LPN will focus on administrative tasks and help cover other providers as needed. From Tuesday to Friday, they will perform standard MA or LPN duties, supporting the provider with patient care.
Our Medical Assistants or LPNs play an integral part in the operations of our community-based physician practices. Dedicated to clinical support, the Medical Assistant or LPN ensures a smooth patient flow within the practice and assists in the examination and treatment of patients under the direction of physician or advanced practitioner.
Responsibilities
This Medical Assistant or LPN will support a Co- Medical Director in our practice who predominantly sees 16-18 patients per day. While we ideally aim to have our clinical support staff members working 1:1 with their assigned Provider, they do cross-cover, rotate, and collaborate with various providers to develop their skills, expose them to different styles, and expand their clinical knowledge.
The ideal candidate will help keep the Co-Medical Director on schedule and anticipate their needs, especially with maintaining efficient patient flow and managing in-basket messages. Proficiency in administering injections and immunizations is essential, with national certification strongly preferred. The physician is great to work with, has a background in informatics, and values a tech-savvy Medical Assistant or LPN with Epic experience-ideally someone with solid experience in primary care or internal medicine.

Required
• Completion of a formal, post-secondary clinical training program (ex. Medical Assistant, EMT, Paramedic, Nursing Assistant) OR Matriculation in, or graduate of, an Associates or Bachelor's degree program in nursing (RN). Nursing students must have completed fundamentals of nursing, skills lab, and at least one clinical rotation in medical / surgical nursing.
Preferred
• Certificate, Diploma or Associates Degree in Medical Assisting from an accredited program.
• 2 years of experience in a related physician's office setting.
