MBL Technologies is seeking a skilled Business Process Engineer to join our team. This role involves implementing large-scale information system solutions, facilitating business integration, and recommending domain-specific solutions to enhance organizational efficiency. The successful candidate will leverage their expertise to evaluate business models, streamline processes, and ensure effective project progression and stakeholder alignment.

This position offers a hybrid work environment but requires proximity to Washington DC for occasional on-site needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with implementing large-scale information system solutions and facilitate business integration across the organization.
  • Recommend domain-specific solutions and policies to address operational needs.
  • Evaluate various business models and identify opportunities for improved work alternatives and business processes.
  • Gather and document comprehensive business requirements to drive organizational efficiency.
  • Plan and execute system testing, and support business partners in user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Facilitate meetings, communications, and negotiations to ensure smooth project progression and alignment with stakeholder expectations.
  • Conduct regular audits and reviews of existing business processes and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Ensure compliance with organizational goals and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with VA compliance officers to integrate new regulations into processes, provide documentation, and offer staff training to maintain adherence to compliance requirements and changes to SOPs.
  • Lead the design, updating, and implementation of new sections within the business process framework to address emerging needs and improve efficiency.
  • Manage the transition from old to new processes, ensuring minimal disruptions and seamless integration while continuously monitoring process performance.
  • Create and maintain a network of relevant individuals to solve operational problems.
  • Provide operational assistance, advice, and solutions to co-workers as needed.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in implementing large-scale information system solutions and facilitating business integration.
  • Strong ability to evaluate business models, document requirements, and drive process improvements.
  • Experience in system testing, user acceptance testing, and managing stakeholder communications.
  • Knowledgeable in conducting process audits, ensuring compliance, and integrating new regulations.
  • Skilled in designing and implementing business process frameworks and managing process transitions.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in business analysis or process engineering.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Six Sigma Black Belt Certification preferred.
  • PMP or FAC P/PM Certification preferred.
  • Active VA clearance required.
