Axiom is looking for a Help Desk/System Support Technician. The Help Desk/System Support Technician will assist the Manager Network Administration by facilitating and managing IT Network and Systems and will provide administrative support.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide desktop and network support (including, but not limited to administering and maintaining end user accounts, password resets/unlocks, and email setup and support)
  • Deliver technical support, over the phone and in person, in a quick, courteous, and professional manner
  • Monitor assigned tickets and provide service or escalation as necessary
  • Provide expertise associated with computer hardware, operating system, software configurations, driver incompatibilities, etc.
  • Perform device patching – Responsible for all end-user security patches, drivers and software
  • Support company VOIP application on all devices
  • Basic printer troubleshooting and support
  • Issue IT equipment and track asset inventory (laptops, monitors, keyboards, etc.)
  • Other duties as assigned


Qualifications

  • Education: Associate's degree or higher in Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
  • Mac operating system and M365 experience is a plus
  • Basic understanding of AD, DNS, IoT and mail flow
  • Basic understanding of a LAN/WAN environment utilizing WiFi, DHCP/Static, and VLAN's
  • Demonstrated ability to work well both independently and as a member of a team
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with a strict level of confidentiality
  • Having an investigative, problem-solving mindset, ability to troubleshoot system issues and make necessary adjustments
  • Ability to adhere to defined processes and suggest improvements
