Perioperative Services Educator

Position will focus on educating current staff and orienting new staff within the perioperative department. Responsibilities include auditing and participation in the leadership team.

Salary Range: $71,547.00 - $118,053

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing
• Current New York State Registered Nurse registration and certification
• Demonstrated clinical competence in specialty area

Professional Skills:

• Effective leadership and communication skills
• Coaching and mentoring of staff
• Research and development of specialty practice standards

Physical Demands: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required.

Work Environment: Exposure to infectious materials and chemicals. Moderate noise level. On-site work required.
